I normally eschew trashcans in favor of leaving my trash lying around my office. If you are more the neat freak type that actually wants to use a trashcan, but have enough Howard Hughes in you to not want to touch the can you are in luck.
The Wastecan i-Master Wesco is a trash can that is “intelligent,” not in the it will beat you at chess type of way, but the can will open the lid for you without you having to even step on a lever. An infrared-sensor shoots from the top of the can and detects your hand as you get close to the opening.Once detected the can opens itself for you to toss away your trash. I wonder how fast it opens, I am thinking waiting for your trash can to open for a fraction of a second will feel very similar to the way it feel while waiting for Windows to boot. You know what I mean where a second feels like an hour. This can is seriously expensive as well at about $430. For that kind of price, it had better take the trash out to the curb too. iPhone 6 Plus Has Not the Best Smartphone Screen
The experts at DisplayMate have tested the new iPhone 6 Plus display. While it is impressive, it is not the best smartphone display on the market. Samsung is in the lead. Is it time for Apple to switch to OLED?
About the Geek Mind
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
