Verbarius Clock Tells Time with Words

Those of you out there that prefer to say quarter till 12 when asked the time rather than 11:45 the guys at Art Lebedev design studio have built a clock just for you. The black monolithic rectangle displays the time as midnight rather than 12pm.

It appears that the time can be displayed in several languages including English, Russian and German (I think that’s Russian and German anyhow). Now rather than having your clock list simple numbers you can get it all spelled out for you.Seems a bit weird to me to have a clock that says fifteen minutes till noon rather than 12:15, but whatever floats your boat. The Verbarius clock is available now for pre-order at a costly $160. It is slated to launch in September for its normal price of $180. Keep in mind these are the same guys that promised the Optimus keyboard that has yet to materialize. Story and Image via Sci Fi Tech
