LG introduces 8 new flatpanel HDTVs in Korea, including a 60 inch Plasma TV that you can choose to have with Walnut wooden frame.
The LG Walnut Plasma would go perfectly with my new designer bed side CD radio from Sonoro, which I picked in Walnut. The 60 inch Plasma is in LG's XCanvas series and comes in two variations: 60PT1DRW and 60PT1DRA. The price is 9,900,000 KRW (~$10,550) in Korea.
Other new LG TVs include a 50 and 42 inch Plasma and new LCD based TVs (32 inch, 37 inch, 2x 42 inch, with improved picture quality.
As with the Samsung HDTV announcements last week, we do not know when or if these TVs will ship outside Korea in this configuration.
More details about the new LG Plasma TVs can be found in this LG press-release (Korean). Compare Prices on LG Plasma TVs.
