Millionth member signs up for online UK dating site

The United States has its highly popular, and critically mocked, eHarmony.com, but in the UK one site that's trying to make a mark specifically in that country is MakeFriendsOnline.com. That's more than 100,000 members every year since it launched in 2000.

The site prides itself on being user-friendly and respectable, cutting out all users who have been reported to be cheaters and liars. They're the ones who move to eHarmony.So for those who need to look trough a million people to find the one that's right for you, Make Friends Online now has that service.
