DXG USA Announces the DXG-506V 5MP Digital Camera & Camcorder
 
 
DXG USA is announcing today a new addition to its line of digital cameras called the DXG-506V. The DXG-506V has a wealth of capabilities such as digital camera, Camcorder, MP3 player, voice recorder and webcam functionality.

Images, video, tunes, and memos are all saved to the cameras internal 32MB flash memory. There are some interesting color options available as well; Deep-Sea Blue, Metallic Pink, Midnight Black, and Classic Silver.The DXG-506V is being aimed at younger markets where it can be used to shoot images and video for easy upload to sites like Youtube and MySpace. Pricing for the camera is set at $149.

Video shot is at a 640 x 480 resolution at 30 fps and it can capture digital photos at up to 12 megapixels via interpolation. If the 32MB of on board memory isn’t enough for your needs there is also an SD slot available and the camera is PictBridge enabled for direct printing. Optical zoom is not available, but there is a 4x digital zoom. Three flash modes are built in and the screen is 1.7” flip-out LCD. Via DXG press release.
