As reported the Yahoo! stock surged yesterday on the news from the NY Post about Microsoft and Yahoo! Merger Talks. The WSJ (subscription) reports now that there where talks, but they are alrady over again without a result.
There is no official word from either company on the whole issue. Yahoo!'s stock still ended up with a 9.94% gain yesterday.
