Sanyo has introduced the world's first waterproof camcorder dubbed the Sanyo Xacti E1.
With the Sanyo Xacti E1 you can record full-motion 640 x 480 pixel, 30fps video and 6MP stills under water to a depth of five feet for up to one hour at a time.
The Sanyo Xacti E1 supports up to 8GB SDHC SD memory cards, which let you store 10 hours of full-motion 640 x 480 pixel, 30fps video.
Other features of the compact Xacti E1 camcorder inlcude 2.5 inch screen, 5x optical zoom, anti-shake stabilizer, 16:9 shooting, super macro and works with PC and Apple Mac.
Measurements of the E1 are 2.8 x 4.4 x 1.6inches and the weight si 8.3 oz.
The Sanyo Xacti E1 will be available in the U.S.A. in blue, yellow and white in mid-June 2007 at $499.99 MSRP. Check the availability of the Sanyo Xacti VPC-E1 here.
