AMD ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 coming in August

AMD just released the HD 4850 and HD 4870 video cards, reports appear that the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 will be ready in August.
AMD will begin shipping reference design boards with 2GB GDDR5 memory at the end of the month reports Digitimes based on industry sources.
AMD will also ship the 4870 X2 (RV770XT) GPU to vendors designing their own video cards.
The ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 video cards have supposedly a price-tag around $499.
