Steve Jobs announces in his keynote speech at the WWDC 07 that Apple is releasing their Safari web browser on Windows XP and Windows Vista.
Apple boasts that Safari has much better rendering and JS performance than IE.
So IE and Firefox have a new pal to play browser wars with.To have Safari on Windows is great news for web developers. They can finally just use one PC to test all browsers at least in theory. There are also differences between the same browsers on different OSes.
We will see how clean the Windows implementation of Safari is soon.
Download of Safari 3 for Windows is available here now. Via Engadget Live WWDC 07 coverage.
