New Toshiba HD-DVD and HDD Recorder VARDIA RD-A600 and RD-A300

Toshiba announces two new digital hard-drive recorder with HD-DVD drive.

The Toshiba RD-A600 features a 600GB hard-drive and RD-A300 comes with a 300GB drive. Both devices can record video onto HD DVD-R and HD DVD-R DL discs.
The new Toshiba digital recorders have two hi-Vision tuners to receive Japanese HDTV programming and record two shows at the same time. The price of the RD-A600 is supposed to be 200,000 Yen (~$1,642) and RD-A300 has a price tag of 150,000 yen (~$1,231). I wonder how long we have to wait in the US and Europe to get such HD recording machines.
Via this Toshiba press-release (Japanese).
