Axion Launches a Wide Screen 7in Digital Photo Frame

Last year I reviewed one of Axion’s large digital photo frames and found it to be very cool. Today Axion announced that they have a new 7” widescreen digital photo frame called the AXN-9701.

The screen resolution is 480 x 234 and has adjustable brightness for viewing in different environments. Internal memory allows you to store up to 15 images for viewing shots without a memory card.

If your camera saves photos to different photos like mine does, the AXN-9701 has an auto sort feature that will grab images from any folders on the card. The frame is compatible with cards of up to 2GB and reads SD, CF, MMC, xD, and Sony Memory Stick. A credit card style remote allows you to control the shots from up to 25 feet. Another cool feature is that you can directly connect flash drives to the frame and images will be displayed on the screen. Via Axion
