This has to be the coolest movie promo that I have ever seen. 7-11’s all across the nation are being converted to help promote the upcoming Simpsons movie. Ass you can see from the shot the stores are set up to look like they came from the show.
On top of the store, you see Bart and Milhouse and scattered throughout the store are many other Springfield residents replete with Marge and her giant blue hair outside. Even the Slurpee machine is made into the Squishee machine.
There are lots of shots liked to in the original story on Flickr. Looking at all the detail work from the stuff on the bricks on the outside to the signs on the inside, I have to wonder exactly how much money Fox spent to convert each of these stores.
