Apple is selling the iLife '04 Software package that includes the hyped Garagaband Software for the rather low price of $49.00.
Besides the new Garageband the package also includes iTunes (which is free), iPhoto, iMovie and iDVD. Of course this package is only available for Apple OS.
The Garageband software allows hobby musicians to record professional multi-track recordings and burn it directly on CD.
