Korean researches develop a new plastic solar cell with 6.5% efficiency.
The new solar cells have been developed by a team of the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology and University of California Santa Barbara.
Current solar sells cost $2.30 per Watt. The new plastic solar sell would only cost 10c per Watt.
The only downer is that commercial introduction is still 5 years away.
