We reported about the Low-cost Coby 515 DVD Player and asked if anybody is running it.
Ralph is and he wrote the following about Coby DVD Players:
"I have a Coby DVD player, which also has a scanner and like 515 model is also compatible with PAL and NTSC formats.
I use the Coby to play burned copies of my DVD movies recorded with DVD XCopy. My more expensive Sony
DVD player will not read some of this dvds while Coby play them back with no problem at all.
I will have to say that the Coby 515
has great features including 5.1 Channel System and plays DVD/MP3/CD-R/CD-RW/Kodak Picture CD/WMA and a digital display. Also it has Component-Video hook-ups, S-Video, and a not so bad remote control. These are features that are found in most of the $100.00 or more expensive DVD player. I am happy with my Coby 515 and I am ready to buy a Coby 515 Model tomorrow when they will go on sell for $29.99 after $20.00 Mail-In Rebate at the Wherehouse.com."
