The Canadians already told us all about the new Sony DSC-T200 and DSC-T70 T-series cameras on Monday. The two slim new additions to the Sony T-eries digital camera line have now been officially announced to the United States and Europe.
Sony Europe even threw in some nice gadget model photos with the T200 and T70 camera announcement. Ladies, there is even a male gadget model in the photo gallery posing with the DSCp-T200.The coolest thing on the 8MP Sony DSC-T200 is the 3.5 inch wide-format touch screen. The 8MP Sony DSC-T70 still got a 3 inch screen. See these hi-res photos.
Other features of the DSC-T200 include 5x Optical, 8.5x HD Smart (16:9), 10x Precision Digital, 25x Smart (VGA) zoom, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens, huge 3.5 inch touch screen, Bionz image processor, optical Super SteadyShot, up to 3200 ISO, full HD photo TV display, and 31MB internal memory.
The 8.1MP Sony DSC-T70 features a 3x Optical, 5.1x HD Smart (16:9), 6x Precision Digital and 15x Smart (VGA) zoom, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens, 3 inch touch screen, Bionz image processor, optical Super SteadyShot, sensitivity up to 3200 ISO and In-camera Retouching.
The Cyber-shot DSC-T200 and DSC-T70 digital cameras will ship in September for about $400 and $300, respectively. The T200 is available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
The Sony DSC-T70 is also available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
