Olevia announced today that they have a new LCoS HDTV with full 1080p resolution. The model number for the new HDTV is 665H and it uses the 6-megapixel Brillian UltraContrast LCoS light engine and Pixelworks DNX video processing.
Olevia puts the response time at 4ms and says the TV has a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Connectivity options include two HDMI with HDCP, two component, VGA, two S-video, two composite, and a PC input supporting HDMI.
The 665H uses FutureProof RS-232 control technology that has upgradeable firmware via USB. The 665H is due for availability in Q4 2007 for a MSRP of $1999.
