As reported Apple hosts a press-event on September 5th. Taiwanese Digitimes weighs in with their rumors sourced from Asian Apple contractors on what Apple is announcing.
The report says that Apple is introducing a new iPod video, iPod nano and a new shuffle.
The iPod video and iPod nano would feature an iPhone like touch user interface. The iPod video would sport a new wide-screen format display and WiFi.The new 6th generation iPod would also have flash memory instead of a HDD.
Digitimes also lists the contractors for each iPod. If those leaks are true and Apple speaks with those contractors Digitimes will be listing.
Apple is also expected to announce an iPhone ringtone service on iTunes.
