The Shuttle name is synonymous with small form factor computing. Today shuttle announced a new SFF barebones XPC machine called the SP35P2 Pro, which is the successor to the SD39P2.
The SP35P2 Pro has enough space on the small mainboard for up to 8GB of DDR2-800 RAM. Four SATA2 ports are available enabling RAID functionality and the machine has two eSATA ports on the rear panel.
A single PCI Express x16 slot for graphics cards is available and a finger print scanner helps secure the computer. The machine supports the fast Intel Core 2 Quad processors with 800MHz, 1066 MHz, or 1333MHz FSB speeds. The power supply is a 400 watt ATX mini unit. Onboard audio is 7.1 channel HD audio with Realtek ALC888 codec and an analog line-out.
