Today Vodafone announced that they will offer the Samsung F700 exclusively in Germany starting in November .
Samsung announced the F700 back in February. It has a touch screen like the Apple iPhone, but also has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Other features of the Samsung F700 include a 2.78 inch TFT Touch Screen with 440x240px resolution 3G connectivity, 3MP camera, microSD card slot, and media player.Measurements of the Samsung F700 are 104 x 50 x 16.4mm. The iPhone is 5mm thinner, but 10mm wider, and 10mm taller.
The F700 runs the awarding winning Samsung Croix user interface.
The Samsung F700 is a valid iPhone contender. Wi-Fi is missing and of course it is not working with iTunes.
Vodafone is obviously not in a deal with Apple to offer the iPhone. T-Mobile has still not come forward, but it is pretty sure that they will offer the iPhone in Germany.
