Sony announces the NW-S710F and NW-S610F video walkman in Japan.
The NW-S610 should correspond with the recently announced Sony NWZ-S610 player. It looks like the NW-S610 sticks though to ATRAC and with SoundStage and is not part of Sony's Open Digital Music Environment using Windows Media Player 11.
The new NW-S710F features noise canceling earbuds and will be available in the top model with 8GB flash memory.
Other features of the NW-S710F series include 1.8 inch screen, MP4 video playback, photo viewer, FM Tuner, USB host, Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, Clear Bass and Clear Stereo.
The Sony NW-S718F (8GB flash memory), NW-S716F (4GB flash memory) and NW-S715F' (2GB flash memory) will ship on October 20th in Japan. Available colors of the S710F are White, Pink, Blue, Lead-lead and Black.
