"The Aurvana X-Fi Noise-Canceling Headphones, with our X-Fi Crystalizer(R) and CMSS(R)-3D technologies that dramatically improve audio playback, provide so much more than the noise cancellation in Bose headphones," said Steve Erickson, vice president of audio for Creative. Creative claims the Aurvana X-Fi headphones cancel out 90% of the ambient noise in the environment. Comfort is improved by using memory foam in the ear cups. Two AAA batteries allow you to use X-Fi technologies at eh same time, but the headphones also work without power as well.
