Energizer has been selling the Energi to GO instant cell phone recharger for a while now. Today Energizer announced a new version coming to stores nationwide designed specifically for the iPod.
The Energizer Energi to Go Portable Power for iPod combines Energizers e2 Lithium AA batteries with a portable cord free design. The device has a flip stand that allows use as an iPod stand during charging.
When used with Energizer e2 lithium batteries the charger provided 46 hours of music playback on the Nano and 32 hours of music playback on the iPod Video. The device will retail for $29.99 and includes a pair of e2 batteries. The batteries in the charger are replaceable when they are dead.
