Samsung will offer the cool new P2 digital media player with 8GB and large 3 inch wide screen in black in the United States (Amazon.com). Koreans will get the additional choice of red or white for the YP-P2.
The Samsung YP-P2 is a great and stylish alternative to the new Apple iPod nano. If Samsung would match the price of the 8GB iPod nano with the P2, they would actually be able to gain some reasonable market share.
Other features of the Samsung P2 include Video, Music, and Photo playback with the following compatible formats: MP3, WMA, Subscription Music, MPEG4, WMV, JPG, TXT, FM radio, text viewer, alarm clock, world clock, calendar and DNSe 2.0.
It must be pretty cold in Korea already, because Samsung's gadget model wears a woolly hat.
