If you are a big fan of the Guitar Hero video game franchise you probably like the music that is used in the games. iTunes and Activision announced today that compilations of music from the upcoming Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock are now available on iTunes.
Nearly every song in the upcoming game is available on iTunes including “Surrender”, “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Carry on Wayward Son”. "Guitar Hero fans have been clamoring for increased accessibility to their favorite songs from the set lists," said Dusty Welch, head of publishing for Activision/RedOctane(R). "Where there's music, there's Guitar Hero, and with iTunes, we are able to provide fans with a central location for downloading their favorite rock anthems."
The Guitar Heroes music has its own page on the iTunes store accessed at www.itunes/guitarhero. Guitar Hero III will be launched on October 28 and players will be able to get two new wireless guitar controllers to use in the game.
