Ectaco offers with the iTRAVL NTL-9C a speech to speech multi-lingual translator gadget.
This top of the line translator translates spoken words and phrases from English to Chinese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian Spanish and back.
Besides text and speech translations the iTRAVL is also loaded with a Fodor’s Travel Guide with maps and essential information for 50 cities and the CIA World Factbook for 180 countries around the world.
The entire linguistic content of the iTRAVL is included on a 1GB SD card which comes with the device.
ECTACO iTRAVL has a touch screen and runs on Windows CE and also offers functions like a music player, games, calculator, metric converter, and word time clock utilities.
The ECTACO iTRAVL NTL-9C sells for $599.95 on the Ectaco site.
There are other iTRAVL models that support a lower number of language pairs.
