Soon after Microsoft launched the new Zune players on November 13th it was clear that the 80GB Zune player was not available. Now our records indicate that Amazon has been shipping 80GB Zune players to those who pre-ordered for while now.
The 80GB Zune is marked as not in stock though on the Amazon catalog.
Zune Insider also has a report saying that 80GB Zune players are supposed to be available in 7 to 10 days in significant numbers.
The 80GB Zune features a 3.2 inch screen and measures 2.4 x 4.3 x 0.5 inches. It sells for $249.99. The 80GB iPod Classic sells for $237.49.
