Pawsitive I.D. DNA Testing Kit for Dogs... Seriously

I like dogs, don’t get me wrong, but I am certainly no fanatic. Most of us have one of those over the top dog lovers in our families or as a friend. The type that talks to their dogs as if they are a child, dresses the dog up, lives, and breathes for the dog.

The perfect holiday gift for that type of person is the Pawsitive I.D. pet DNA testing kit. This home testing kit makes it possible to analyze a pets DNA to check them for hereditary diseases and to allow positive identification if your pet is lost or stolen.

The test kit is something you can perform in your home and consist of a CSI like cheek swab test that you send into a lab. Results take about 2 weeks and results come back with a certificate including DNA disease and trait screening information and fingerprint data. The kit retails for $49.95.
