Sony announces the new firmware 3.80 for the Sony PSP in Japan.
Update:
Sony PSP Firmware 3.80 released today with Internet radio
The new Sony PSP firmware 3.80 makes use of the digital TV tuner (WANSEGU) accessory and allows users to record TV shows onto memory sticks making the PSP a portable digital video recorder.
Additionally listening to Internet radio will be possible with the new 3.80 firmware.
Sony also launches the Playstation Spot at BB Mobile Points in Japan. At these Wi-fi hotspots users can download PSP wallpapers and free game demos and trials.
The new Sony PSP firmware 3.80 will be released on December 18th. This PSP firmware update seems to be very Japan specific. I'm not sure if we will see an update in other regions for the PSP.
