Apple Macworld Rumors: new Sub-notebook and external Optical Drive

Besides the wealth of CES 2008 announcements there are already lots rumors of what Apple will introduce at the MacWorld Expo 2008 that starts on January 14th in San Francisco.

The two biggest rumors so far are around a new Apple sub-notebook that would come without an optical drive, thus feeding a rumor of a new external optical drive from Apple.
The rumored Apple Sub-notebook is still sporting a large 13.3 inch screen, but would be very thin.

Another rumor is about a new large trackpad that could be found on a new Macbook with advanced gesture inputs.
