EDGE Acoustics announced a new set of ear buds aimed at gamers called the GX400. The ear buds use a balanced armature transducer and have a maximum output of 122dB SPL.

Impedance is 27 ohms and the frequency response is 35 – 42dB. The in-ear design allows for industry leading noise isolation according to the maker. EDGE claims that it spent a lot of time to ensure the audio quality of the ear buds helped gamers play better.

The GX400 gaming headset is available now from Amazon.com in black or ruby colors for $179.99. The ear buds are also compatible with the PSP, MP3 players and other devices using a compatible headphone jack.
