Sharp says the Aquos X series sets have the thinnest profile of any Aquos HDTVS with the thinnest part of the set being a mere 3.44 cm. All three of the new Aquos models house the tuner portion in a separate component to allow for thinner profile on the TV.
The sets have a contrast ratio of 15000:1 with 12-bit color depth. Contrast ratios in all three sets are 120Hz and they are all full 1080p HD resolution. Internal speakers on the line include eight 3-way speakers with a 1-bit digital amp. There is no word on pricing or availability at this time.
