Both machines are powered by the new AMD Phenom processor with the GM5664 getting a Phenom 9600 and the GT5662 getting a Phenom 9500. Graphics for the machines are via ATI Radeon HD 2400XT. The GM5664 gets a 1TB hard drive while the GT5662 gets 500GB of storage.
The hybrid drive in the GT also features Labelflash technology. The GM desktop includes an analog/digital TV tuner as well. Both machines run on Vista Home Premium and neither includes a display. The GM5664 is $1149.99 and the GT5662 is $749.99.
