Sony announced a new line of digital photo frames called S-Frames today that include three models. The DPF-V900, DPF-V700, and DPF-D70 frames all have 800 x 480 resolution and a 15:9 aspect ratio. All of the frames are capable of displaying photos of up to 48 megapixels in size.

Digital photo frames are a natural addition to our line of digital imaging products," said Ted Okada, senior vice president of digital imaging for Sony Electronics. "Our new S-Frame brand of digital photo frames takes inspiration from the style and features of our Cyber-shot cameras and BRAVIA LCD televisions. They give consumers a beautiful and technically advanced way to showcase their memories."

The DPF-V700 is a 7-inch frame retailing for $190, the DPF-V900 is a 9-inch frame retailing for $250 and the DPF-D70 is a 7-inch frame retailing for $140. All three frames have an optional Bluetooth adapter. The V900 and V700 feature in frame automatic image enhancement and have 512MB of internal memory. The D70 has 256MB of internal storage.
