16GB iPhone available on Apple Store

The Apple store was down earlier this morning and is back now with a surprise. You can now get a 16GB iPhone for $499.

We reported a rumor tonight that an 16GB iPhone is imminent in the UK. I would have been surprised if the UK had got their hands on a new Apple product before the Apple fanboys and fangirls in the U.S.
Besides having double the space for music and applications there is no difference between the 8GB iPhone and the 16GB iPhone.
