The GT Ultra uses a retractable antenna and is for use in laptops that have a PC Card Type II slot. The GT Ultra Express is for laptops with 34mm ExpressCard slots and uses a flip-up antenna.
Both cards are tri-band UMTS/HSPA 850/1900/2100MHz and GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz. These frequencies allow the cards to connect in more than 140 countries including Japan and Korea. Both cards are compatible with Windows Vista, XP, 2000, and Mac OS. The cards will be available for $49.99 after two-year activation and mail in rebate.
