We reported yesterday that the long, long awaited OLED keyboard Optimus Maximus from artlebedev is finally shipping. Engadget got their hands on one with the full 113 OLED Keys (price: $1,564.72).
Engadget published a video showing the OLED keyboard in action and also the new software to customize the layout and icons.
The boot up of the Optimus Maximus keyboard takes a while. If you have a normal booting PC it should be ready by the time your PC is booted though.
The software looks easy to use and gives you basically unlimited ways to paint on your keyboard keys. The graphics can also go over several keys by just painting across the whole keyboard layout.
