We have talked about Mass Effect before here at I4U. The game made a huge splash when it was released last year as an Xbox 360 exclusive title. We reported a few weeks ago that Mass Effect was coming to the PC in May.

Yesterday EA released the exact launch date for the PC version of the game. Mass Effect for the PC will be available on May 6th. EA says that the PC version will introduce new features to make it more Pc friendly and possibly get owners of the Xbox 360 version to spring for the PC version as well.

The new features include a new squad control interface, hot-key functionality, redesigned Mako controls, new quick save button, decryption mini-game and a new inventory screen GUI. Mass Effect won awards for Console Game of the Year and RPG of the year. Mass Effect is shaping up to be a hit on the PC as well.
