Imation SSD Drives by Mtron Available

Imation announced today that it has a line of SSD products available powered by Mtron. The Imation SSD line includes two families of products, the MOBI 3000 series for end users and the PRO 7000 series for enterprise users.

"The Imation SSD MOBI 3000 Series and PRO 7000 Series meet mobile business and enterprise demand for high performance, reliability and energy efficiency."

The MOBI 3000 offers sustained read speeds of 100MB/sec and sustained write speeds of up to 80MB/sec with a random access time of only 0.1ms. The PRO 7000 offers sustained read speeds of 120MB/sec and sustained write speeds of 90MB/sec with a 0.1ms random access time. The MOBI 3000 sells for $699.99 and the PRO 7000 sells for $1159.99 for 32GB sizes.
