The largest watch trade show on the planet opened its doors officially today in Basel, Switzerland. Our watch news site Wrist Dreams has already covered lots of new timepieces that have been announced at BaselWorld 2008.
Tag Heuer dazzles again with a new concept watch design pushing the limits of mechanical watch technology. At the BaselWorld 2008 Tag Heuer unveiled the Tag Heuer CARRERA Calibre 36 RS Caliper Concept Chrono.
The Tag Heuer Grand CARRERA Calibre 36 RS Caliper Concept Chronograph is the world's first automatic chronograph with 1/10th of a second Caliper Rotating Scale. More details on Wrist Dreams.
Also very cool is the new Tag Heuer SLR Calibre S Laptimer 1/100th. This is the first SLR that is not a limited edition and it is the most accurate car-racing chronograph celebrating McLaren-Mercedes SLR GT cars.
