The biggest trend on Youtube in 2012 was Psy's Gangnam Style. 2013 has a new massive video craze that just started called Harlem Shake. It is an extreme powerful meme that has already triggered the upload of 12,000 Harlem Shake as of Feb. 11. Harlem Shake originated with a short video on Feb 2. According to Youtube, user SunnyCoastSkate has then established the art form of Harlem Shake videos (watch below).
The 12,000 user generated videos have about 44 million views so far. This will though further explode as about 4,000 new Harlem Shake videos are uploaded each day. This number is just amazing. The Harlem Shake is a DJ Baauer dance track.
