LG brings WebOS to Smart TVs

A report that later got pulled on CNET (Google Cache) says that LG has acquired WebOS from HP. The company plans to use WebOS for Smart TVs. HP has killed WebOS soon after they bought Palm. Now the basically great OS gets another life.

There is likely an official announcement coming later today. CNET has apparently jumped the gun on the report.
