Today is the Apple Shareholder Meeting. The meeting could get heated as Apple is under pressure from shareholders, but we have not been expecting new product announcements. Something might show up because the Apple Store is down.
Often times that means a new product launch, but it is no guarantee. The Apple Store is down globally, which supports the hope of a new product. Maybe a new computer model will appear in the store today.
We will keep an eye on it and see if something new turns up.

Apple Store is back online without changes.
