Pizza Hut Launches Xbox 360 App for Delivery Purposes

Who doesn’t love the delicious taste of scrumptious pizza? And when the menu happens to be Pizza Hut’s, it is all the better. The chain of restaurants famed for their Super Supreme Pizzas and Philly Steak Sandwiches have a co-partner in their endeavor to change food habits throughout the world. Now, in a fresh joint venture, Microsoft and Pizza Hut will make fast food delivery even simpler than in the previous times of telephonic ordering.

By usage of an Xbox Live along with an Xbox 360 app, famished users looking to assuage their hunger can choose from the picturesque menu to create their very own customized pizzas which will be delivered to their doorsteps within minutes. According to Polygon, orders can be placed through Kinect Motion Controls or a voice command module. There is even the option of directly using the controller to opt for extra cheese topping or more mushrooms. Fast Food Fanatics can set their orders to some time in the not-so-distant future. Or conversely they can look up cool deals which keep appearing time after time.

A fully furnished menu with a range of mouthwatering and tantalizing food items is available at a moment’s notice. Pizza, lasagna, garlic bread and wings are just some of the taste-bud teasers on display. And as if that was not enough, there is a Facebook facility that lets you share your opinions and ratings with friends anywhere in the world. The project has been in its embryonic phase for a long time according to Larry Hryb of Xbox. But now its time has arrived and it is the birth of an idea.

It is the first such app which allows its users to actually get physical goods such as a variety of food options from the safety of their computer consoles. It is truly the height of convenience. Now all that you have to do is sit back and relax while browsing the Pizza Hut menu. At the mere click of a button the order is placed and within 15 to 20 minutes it will arrive outside your residence or office. And the good thing is it will be hot and fresh from the oven as Pizza Hut has always promised.

Larry’s words are worth quoting. He says “We’re always looking at ways to give our audience more of what they’re interested in. If you look at our audience, they love pizza. I mean, who doesn’t?” So the ultimate side order with your console would be a Super Supreme with thick melted cheese on it!
A treat for one’s appetite indeed!
