Appsterdam's AltWWDC is free alternative to Apple's WWDC

A free offer for all developers, who did not receive phone calls from Apple, to join the open conference of AltWWDC 2013. This is also another Apple-centric open and free conference organzied by Appsterdam. AltWWDC is announced on Thursday and it will be held at SF State Downtown Campus at 845 Market St in San Francisco. This place is just a block away from the Moscone Center where WWDC is held.
 
AltWWDC is another five day conference which allows participants to share their knowledge. It is a social get together to share knowledge, improve skills, and increase network. The event was announced in words :

"Join us for AltWWDC - a free and open alternative to Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference - June 10th-14th, 2013. Five days of talks, food, co-working, and mingling with other developers all without the bar noise. Got a WWDC ticket? Didn't get a WWDC ticket? Doesn't matter - the conference happens outside the conference."

AltWWDC event includes talks, food, and co-working space of Wifi, coffee, and peace on first come, first serve basis. The Confirmed speakers shows diverse persons likeformer Apple engineer Mike Lee, NetNewsWire creator Brent Simmons, TUAW’s Victor Agreda, Jr., and developer and occasional Macworld contributor Brett Terpstra.

Dates announced for the event are same as of WWDC 2013 i.e. from June 10 to June 14. You can get Register freely on first-come first-serve basis.
