Apple Inc. has launched its latest 11" and 13" models of MacBook Air. The light, thin and compact personnel laptop is introduced at WWDC with battery that can stay awake for whole long day. The 13-inch MacBook has 12 hours battery life and 11-inch has backup of 9 hours when fully charged. Storage is an essential part of computing. It delivers data but on the other hand, the speed of deliverance also counts on its technology, logic and hardware being used. The latest storage which delivers fastest output on query is Flash Drive. It is expensive to use as main stream but Apple has managed to deliver it first time ever. It brings an edge to its products which offer all latest technologies under one banner at lower price than competitors. You can charge up your MacBook with maximum of 512GB. It is nine times faster than traditional 5400-RPM hard drives and 45% faster than previous model of MacBook.
Display is only 0.19 inch thin with outstanding resolution of 1366x768 for 11-inch screen and 1440x900 for 13-inch. The high quality display when combined with 720p HD Camera, gives incredible experience of video or conference calls. It listen you more carefully with an additional microphone. New MacBook is powered by next generation of processors like Core i5 and i7. Performance is judged by efficiency to deliver rich graphics and games. Intel’s 4th generation processors ship with Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) and it delivers 40 percent faster result than other previous models.
Apple has upgraded its wireless network and data transfer products too. The AirPort Time Capsule base station and AirPort Extreme with Wi-Fi support of 802.11 ac Wi-Fi technology. Its data transfer speed is three times faster than traditional networking routers. Multi-Touch Trackpad has both hardware and software enhancements. You can click, double click, zoom, scroll up-down, scroll left-right and view mission controls from your all new Trackpad. You do not need to look for mouse for scrolling through a documents or webpage. Just put two fingers on it, and move up-down or sideways to see its true magic. It supports one, two and three finger gesture and movements.
Apple’s new masterpiece is designed with latest Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, thunderbolt and USB 3.0 ports. The thunderbolt is super-fast that can be used to extend display to supported screens as Apple Thunderbolt Display. You can buy refreshed MacBook Air models through Apple Stores(Local & Online) and its authorized retailers. The 11-inch model can be purchased from $999 with 128GB flash storage. You can extend it to 256GB storage for $1,999. Other 13-inch MacBook Air is available for $1,099 with 128GB storage and customization of 256GB flash storage is available for $1,299. Customizations can be done for RAM (up to 8GB), core i7 processor 1.3, 1.7, 2.6 or 3.3GHz and hard drive (up to 512 GB). AirPort Extreme can be purchase for additional capacity to store data. It is available in 2TB and 3TB for $299, $399 respectively.
