1984 Book Sales Explode After NSA Spying Scandal Hit

Big brother is watching you. This famous phrase is from the classic George Orwell book 1984. George Orwell wrote the book 1984 back in 1948. 1984 describes a future of complete surveillance and a totalitarian regime.

The NSA spying scandal is raising awareness again for George Orwell's book. The Telegraph reports that 1984 book sales on Amazon and on Amazon UK skyrocket over the last days. Right now the $10 60th anniversary edition of 1984 is on #99 on Amazon.com .

It looks like people want to read 1984 again to understand better what is going on right now and why it is so wrong.
