Ellen Page's Likeness "Ripped off" by Naughty Dog

The Last of Us of game developer Naughty Dog has made some subtle changes for main character Ellie which bears a striking resemblance with actress Ellen Page. While answering on a Reddit AMA, Page did not appreciate it and said that her likeness is "ripped off".

Canadian actress Ellen Page said that Naughty Dog "ripped off my likeness" for The Last of Us. Actually the main character model Ellie of the game resembles to the “Juno” star. Naughty Dog has redesigned its main character for The Last of Us which was published last week for Sony's PS3.

The creative director, Neil Druckman, of the game told IGN, "After delving further into the game’s narrative over the past few months, we decided to modify Ellie’s model to better reflect [actress] Ashley [Johnson]’s personality, and also resemble a slightly younger teen more fitting to the story,We're happy with the final result shown in the cinematic we have released today, and hope the fans like her too."

But Ellen Page did not appreciate the subtle changes. Reddit user MozeoSLT asked questions from the actress regarding the issue during a recent AMA. MozeoSLT is actually Lucy O'Brienthe, the entertainment editor at IGN. She asked Page about her new role in Sony's new video game "Beyond: Two Souls" and new look of Ellie's character in "The Last of Us".

While replying her questions on Reddit Ask Me Anything, Page said,

"I guess I should be flattered that they ripped off my likeness, but I am actually acting in a video game called Beyond Two Souls, so it was not appreciated."
