Blackberry Launches New Secure Work Space for Apple and Android Devices

Blackberry offers a new service for Apple's iOS and Android smartphones. There is a new Secure Work Space feature being offered by Blackberry Enterprise Service 10. The BES 10 allows users to let their job apps and personal stuff be kept in separate compartments. Thus any information divulgence is minimized. Furthermore, according to Reuters, the data is kept under tight security arrangements. The clientele can also connect and manage via an integrated management console. Android and iOS now carry safe work space for operations. Using this new module government firms and corporate clientele can employ the Android and Apple platforms for their purposes. Blackberry had given hints of the arrival of this system. Now very high rate services can be sold to big shots.

The Secure Work Space feature will be managed from the vicinity of the BES 10. Blackberry was once on top of the world as an essential business tool. But in recent times it has lost the market to Apple, Samsung and Nokia. Blackberry wants to lure back the customers by unveiling its Z10, Q10 and Q5 devices. Also the company policy has changed from production of smart phones to services. Over 18,000 BES servers have been firmly entrenched in their respective spots by Blackberry to render its services manageable. IT experts will find this facility very beneficial. Four years from now a 7% growth in sales of computing products will have been accomplished.

A full-fledged company with a reputation, Blackberry works hard to maintain its image. The conglomerate has over the years become a household word. And unfortunately due to too much usage of its devices it has also been the target of negative criticism. The phenomenon known as “Blackberry Thumb” is proof that too much of a good thing is bad. When people started getting obsessed with Blackberry devices they developed a physical ailment in their thumbs. This became an addition to the medical jargon. But the blame lies on the people who overuse the device and not on Blackberry. The right tool in the wrong hands is deadly.

Blackberry has always been the preferred choice for business transactions. Employed by bosses and executives the world over, it is the ideal business supplement. With the current services being touted by Blackberry it is hoped that benefits will accrue to the company. This is so even though other devices may be used in the operations.
