Bloodhound Supersonic Car is Displayed at Downing Street

British Bloodhound SSC is being viewed by Prime Minister David Cameron and Royal Air Force Wing Commander Andy Green at Downing Street. The full size replica of the 1,000mph car is displayed on June 24, 2013 in London, England.

It will be the world's fastest car in 2015. This car is being designed with 13m jet-and-rocket to reach a speed of above 1,000mph. The fastest land speed record in 2014 is 763mph. British Wing Commander Andy Green will drive Bloodhound SSC in South Africa next year to break current land speed record. This car is being created by joint efforts of The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Gatsby Foundation.
